Dhal chutney

                              
  Dhal chutney

Chutney Dhal- 1/2 cup
Grated coconut-1/4 cup
Green chilli-2
Salt- 3/4 tsp
Mint leaves-1/2 cup
Curry leaves-1
Ginger-1/4 inch piece
Water-1/4 cup
Grind together all ingredients to a smooth paste. Add tempering. Can be served as a spread to bread,roti,Idli,dhosa.
Tempering.
Cooking oil (coconut oil)-1 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/tsp
Curry leaves-1
Dry red chilli-1
Asafoetida(hing)- a pinch
